Take the Challenge! Donate $6.06 on 6/06

If every A.A. member sent in $6.06 on June 6 (6/06), we’d help the General Service Office be self-supporting for the coming year! Here’s how each Area can meet the challenge—please alert your group about this opportunity to give back.

  • Groups collect $6.06 for each member on or before June 6

  • Groups donate to the General Service Board on June 6

  • Contributions can be made online at aa.org. Be sure to mention the “6.06 Challenge” with your donation and include your group number.

Kick Off Summer with a MCYPAA Bonfire

Young in age or young at heart—all are welcome at the Marin County Young People of Alcoholics Anonymous speaker meeting and bonfire on the beach. Join in fellowship on June 11 @ 6pm at Muir Beach. Speaker is soon to be announced. The meeting will be followed by s’mores and fun. Friends, family and dogs welcome.

Save the Date: Unity & Service

Get ready to recharge your A.A. batteries! Save the date July 8-10 for the 7th Annual Unity & Service Conference to learn more about A.A.’s 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts. Hear about their practical application in and out of the rooms of A.A. The goal of the conference is to inspire attending members to volunteer for General Service and discover more ways to live the principles of A.A. every day.

Help Newcomers Make the Transition to A.A.

San Francisco Bridging the Gap (BTG) supports newcomers from a hospital, treatment center or correctional facility to connect with Alcoholics Anonymous. By providing a temporary contact, BTG helps new members make the transition to a new way of life. San Francisco BTG meets monthly online on the first Tuesday of the month. If you want to attend the meeting to learn more or be trained as a volunteer, please email San Francisco BTG at [email protected] to get a link to join the next meeting.
