At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we’re here to remind you that the Town Hall to discuss resuming in-person meetings is happening next Thursday 5/20 @ 7pm PDT!
If you haven’t already done so, there is still time to help us gather crucial information by taking the survey, geared toward local members, regarding this return to in-person meetings. The survey will be available through Tuesday, May 18th!

CNCA 06 Post-Conference Assembly Tomorrow, May 15th
The 71st General Service Conference was held virtually on April 18 – 24, 2021. Tomorrow, our Area Delegate will give a full report and answer questions during the Post-Conference Assembly. Join in tomorrow @ 1:30pm PDT on Zoom to hear it!
A few highlights from the conference include:
- 5th Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous will begin development. The first 164 pages, Forewords, Doctor’s Opinion, Dr. Bob’s Nightmare & Appendices remain as is, however there will be a new foreword, a special preface, and updates to Appendices III and V. No audit of the first 164 pages will take place.
- An accessible version of the 4th Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous with plain and simple language will be developed as a separate book.
- The U.S./Canada General Service Structure will recognize online groups and encourage their participation, listing those groups who ask to be listed within the group’s preferred district and area.
