A.A. Info Table at S.F. Pride this Weekend

There is still time to help out at the A.A. information table at San Francisco Pride on June 24-25. Volunteers are needed for several hour shifts both days between 10am-6pm. Living Sober Conference Coming

The 48th Annual Western Roundup Living Sober Conference is June 30-July 2 in San Francisco. The longest-running U.S. conference for LGBTQIA+ A.A. members is happening in-person and features engaging workshops, inspiring speakers and fun fellowship. Register here.

 

 

July 4 Meetings and Barbecues

Looking for meetings and fellowship on July 4? You have options in Marin! Join the Fellowship at the Marin Alano Club on Independence Day for a speaker meeting, barbeque and live music. Speakers Andrew S. and Kate K. on July 4 @ 12pm followed by live music and barbeque.

For additional meetings on July 4, head to All Saints Church for the Novato Fellowship Alcathon & Potluck where you’ll find consecutive meetings starting @ 12pm, with a barbecue from 1-2pm. The last meeting is @ 7pm and will include chips to celebrate sobriety milestones. Bring a side dish or dessert to share! 

 

Sunday Streets SF

San Francisco Public Relations Committee is looking for volunteers to help with Sunday Streets SF. Sunday Streets is a five-series event happening throughout San Francisco this summer. The next Sunday Streets is July 30 @ 11am-4 pm on Valencia Street. Volunteers are needed at the A.A. information table! Help carry the message to the still-suffering alcoholic who may not know about A.A. For more information, email [email protected].

 

Sobriety Through Service Workshop

Don’t forget the Sobriety Through Service workshop is June 28 online @ 4pm and 7pm. This event hosted by the PI/CPC Working Group of the East Bay Intergroup is an opportunity to learn how to get involved with Public Information and Cooperation with the Professional Community (PI/CPC) in the legal, law enforcement, healthcare and treatment settings. 

 

Grateful Giver Design Contest Ending Soon

There is still time to submit a logo for the newly named Grateful Giver program on our website. The new logo will replace the current illustration of the dollar. Submit your proposed illustration to [email protected] before the contest ends on June 30. Intergroup will vote on the winner this summer. The winner gets bragging rights and their illustration showcased on our website! Consider becoming a Grateful Giver today. Your ongoing contributions support important 12th Step services at Intergroup.
