San Francisco Founders’ Day This Saturday

Join us for Founders’ Day tomorrow, June 17 from 12-3:30pm at Golden Gate Park’s Lindley Meadow, in San Francisco. Want to know how The Buzz is put together? If so, volunteer for the Associate Editor position. The Associate Editor helps draft the weekly content for The Buzz. It’s a one-year commitment. Step by Step Workshop: Step Six

The 2023 Step by Step series continues with a Step Six workshop, “Entirely ready to have God remove all these defects”. Bring your Big Book and join Trevor J. at Mount Tamalpais United Methodist Church (410 Sycamore Ave., Mill Valley) for step guide activities and pizza on June 24 @ 1pm.

 

A.A. Info Table at S.F. Pride

San Francisco Public Relations Committee is looking for volunteers to help with San Francisco Pride on June 24-June 25. Volunteers are needed for several hour shifts both days between 10am-6pm at the A.A. information table. This is a great opportunity to help carry the message to the still-suffering alcoholic who may not know about A.A. For more information and to get involved, email [email protected].

 

Sobriety Through Service Workshop

Save the date for a Sobriety Through Service workshop on June 28,  hosted by the PI/CPC Working Group of the East Bay Intergroup. This is an opportunity to learn how to get involved with Public Information and Cooperation with the Professional Community (PI/CPC) in the legal, law enforcement, healthcare and treatment settings. 

 

Volunteer With Sunshine Club

Sunshine Club brings A.A. meetings to members in San Francisco and Marin who are unable to attend regularly scheduled in person meetings due to illness, accident or medical condition. Join the next volunteer orientation on June 21 @ 7:30pm (online). If you’d like to join the Sunshine Club and are unable to make the next orientation or if you’d like to schedule a meeting for yourself or an A.A. member, contact [email protected].

 

Central Office Closed for Juneteenth

Central Office will be closed on June 17 in observance of Juneteenth. If you can, join us that same day at Golden Gate Park for the San Francisco Founders’ Day
