Teleservice provides telephone service 24 hours a day for alcoholics in need. We refer callers to A.A. meetings, provide information about A.A., and refer 12 Step workers in San Francisco and Marin. Marin and San Francisco Teleservice Committees have merged to form a unified Teleservice Committee. Our helpline number is (415) 674-1821.

Service Opportunities:
- The following positions are open at the Teleservice Committee level:
- Tuesday Daily Coordinator – supports the Tuesday phone volunteers
- Recording Secretary – records meeting minutes
- Vice-Chair – assist the Committee Chair
- 12th Step Worker Coordinator – maintains the 12th Step list
- Telephone shifts are available. Attend the orientation to learn more. Phone shifts are 4-8 hours.
- Meeting Reps: if your meeting does not currently have a Teleservice Rep, please get one and be sure to attend the next Teleservice Orientation.
- 12th Step Call Workers: provide 12th Step calls (via phone or in-person) when an alcoholic reaches out for help. Sign up to be put on the list after attending a Teleservice Orientation.
