The Sunshine Club brings meetings to A.A. members in Marin and San Francisco who can’t attend regularly scheduled meetings due to accident, illness or medical condition but need more connection than online meetings offer. Committee members bring meetings to alcoholics who may be experiencing isolation due to their current health limitations and someone has contacted A.A. Central Office or Sunshine Club Chairs and asked that an AA meeting be brought to the member.
What we do:
- Announce Sunshine Club services in their regular AA meetings
- Bring the Sunshine Club meetings to members, typically 2 or 3 members attend a Sunshine Club meeting.
What is required:
- One-year sobriety requirement
- Sunshine Club members may bring along a sponsee with less than a year of sobriety
- Attend a Sunshine Club Orientation
