Holiday Meeting Updates and Closure Reminders

Please note that Central Office / the bookstore will be closed Christmas Day, December 25th, 2020 and New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2021. Additionally, the bookstore will be closed from December 28th through December 31st, in order to conduct its annual inventory.

Speaking of closures, if your regular meeting will be canceled over the holidays, or you know of other meetings which will be canceled, please send that information to [email protected] so it can be updated on the website.

Conversely, if you are planning any special holiday meetings or know of any alcothon-y type events being created this season, please send those to us too so we can add them to the website and advertise them here in the Buzz! The more, the merrier, right?!

Events Tomorrow: Call Marty Round #2 and CNCA Winter Archives Event

Don’t forget that tomorrow, December 12th @ 10am PST is round two of Call Marty! A Sober Women’s Event, with a presentation by Mily T. and 3 fabulous speakers. Definitely come and check it out!

Also a reminder that the CNCA 06 Winter Archives Event is tomorrow, December 12th @ 10am PST! Come learn how the legacy of A.A. is preserved and digitized, and stay for the live interview and oral history of the current Panel 69 Delegate. You won’t want to miss this!

Marin H&I Orientations Moving to As-Needed Basis

SF Public Relations Speaker Workshop!

For those who don’t know, SFPR (formerly known as PI/CPC) provides literature and speakers for members of the professional community who work with alcoholics and members of the public who are interested in A.A. SFPR will be holding a Speaker Workshop this coming Monday, December 14th at 6pm PST, right before their usual monthly orientation and business meeting

Please come and see how members of our fellowship prepare to speak to the public about A.A., and learn to become one of SFPR’s trusted servants!

It’s that time again, friends, where The Point calls upon its cherished, local A.A. members to share their experience, strength, and hope. Submissions for the January issue will be accepted until December 22nd, 2020.
